As I was going through your hair albums, I kept thinking, "My, (yes, I thought that) what clear skin she has!" Well, when I saw the skincare album, I had to flip through it. Anyhoo...
I've been researching black soap since abuot April. I guess it's time for me to finally try it. I'm going to have to add you to my friends list so I can come back and get the links posted here.

Black soap is also good to use on your hair. I've had scalp irritations fora while and after using this soap for one month I don't have scalp irritations any longer. Great natural product. ************************************************************** I actually use black soap to wash my hair when I want that super clean feeling. This stuff rocks! :D
I started using black soap about a month ago and I immediately loved it. I stand by this 100 percent. However, I recently bought Olive Oil Soap and it is 5 times better. I noticed that my skin would get dry when I used the black soap. Olive Oil soap is more creamy (light cream) and has better moisturizing properties. I stand by both of these products but I love Olive oil soap more. ************************************************************* Hmm...I may have to check that olive oil soap out then.
nothing like a good nights sleep...so hard to come by for me these days

I want to be where she is right now. She looks so cozy. Thanks for sharing this info. You have very pretty skin (and hair I might add). I have had problems with my skin for over a decade. I think it's hereditary, but it's still annoying to have breakouts and I am almost 30. I may try this and see if my skin likes it. ********************************************************** I know mine really loves it. I've always had really sensitive skin, and it wasn't until I discovered black soap that I really went for long periods without a breakout of some sort.
I have been admiring your album...our hair type seems similar. I didn't realize that you were in the same state as me...what part of GA do you libe in? Anyway, what routine do you follow for your hair? *********************************************************** I live in the Atlanta area. My routine is pretty simple these days. I conditioner wash twice a week (i work out a lot so this is necessary to keep my scalp clean). Once a week, I do a deep conditioner. I use shea butter or coconut oil to keep my hair soft.
i used dudu osun along with shea butter once and loved it. It was like I almost instantly i felt and saw a gentle change. even the pores around my nose unclogged. but i stopped using it for no good reason. i started using it again recently and it doesn't seem to be doing as well. maybe it's me...(rambling). what about it makes u say it is not pure? I've been dealing with acne marks for 20 years now. ********************************************************** The fragrances in dodu osun are very harsh, particularly to sensitive skin (like mine). True black soap, on the other hand, is extremely gentle. You get the nice clean feeling, but the skin doesn't wind up feeling as if it's been stripped.
I want to try black soap, I've been doing my research too and I found a wonderful site to get it from. This site was created to give the women of Togo fair trading wages for the work they do to create this wonderful soap unlike other countries. anyway, don't wanna blab you can check it out for yourself, it's a WONDERFUL site with shea butter and all those goodies www.agbangakarite.com. good luck! oh and by the way, it's the REAL THING! ********************************************************* I've got that site in my favorites folder. When I run out of this supply I'll definitely be placing an order!
Your skin looks wonderful. I'm going to try this black soap, I've tried the dodue-oston soap no good. I have tons of face products and nothing seems to help with the acne, even proactive only help for a good month or two. Thanks for the info

I used baking soda to brush my teeth...my moms told me to give it a try it really clean my teeth..but i dont use it a a sustitue for toothpate..but im gonna give it a try on my face too..ive also applied a teensy bit to my armpits after i used some deodorant and it seems to really help *********************************************************** I've used it on my teeth when I run low on toothpaste. It's kinda nasty tasting but gets my teeth super clean. Who knew something so simple had so many uses? :)
I tried it -- I've been using black soap and unrefined shea butter for about a week now and I see a major difference already. It's funny how something so natural works far better than Proactiv, Murad, ect. Thanks :0) ************************************************************ That's great! Glad to be of some help. :D
i use shea on my face and body. with no oily problems. i use it only once a day now. at nite after i wash m face really good. then slather on shea. less in the summer months tho. in the winter i'm more prone to apply it twice a day. but only a LIL' BIT. never broke me out. *shrugs* but i know it's not for everbody. i've had oil-skinned folk email me saying it worked great. but there are folks who don't have the same results. just see what your skin likes. but if this works for ya, why switch up?
